Beginner to intermediate level 1-hour full-body stretching & strengthening class that will rebalance and rebuild your body in a functional and healing way.
CLASS STYLE
This class will follow a moderately paced strengthening style of Essentrics and will use a combination of standing and deep stretching on the floor. It will help improve posture and body awareness, lubricate fascia and connective tissue, and increase blood flow for improved circulation and comfortable daily functioning.
Using elements of Tai Chi, ballet, and physiotherapy, ESSENTRICS® is a movement-based workout using only the body's weight and resistance. It increases range of motion and protects and supports the body preparing it for complementary forms of movement.
Classes will use a yoga mat, plus any additional props (straps, blocks, towels/blankets) as needed.
