Gentle, healing 1-hour full-body stretching & strengthening classes to give your body what it needs to recuperate and rebalance in a safe way after childbirth, surgery, injury, chronic pain, or stiffness.

Open to all mamas no matter your stage of recovery. You must be cleared by your doctor for low impact full-body stretching and strengthening exercise.

For mamas: unfortunately, due to the nature of the workout, children are not permitted to join.


CLASS STYLE

The Aging Backwards workout is slower paced compared to the regular Essentrics class, and will use a combination of standing, chair and floor work. The classes will help you increase blood flow for healing, lubricate fascia and connective tissue, alleviate chronic pain and help you regain strength and flexibility. Perfect for those beginning their fitness journey, or anyone dealing with injuries, chronic pain, or mobility limitations.

Using elements of Tai Chi, ballet, and physiotherapy, ESSENTRICS® is a movement-based workout incorporating a mix of standing and floor work using only the body's weight and resistance. It increases range of motion, and protects and supports the body preparing it for complementary forms of movement.
